I would like to take this opportunity to show you another facet of this ULC problem.

Please read VERY CAREFULLY what these people of the ULC say about their "ministries" and measure them against the Bible.

"My name is REV. SUSAN MEDEIROS and I was ordained in the Universal Life Church in July of 1996. My Ministry is in hands-on healing & I am a Healing Touch Practitioner.

Healing Touch is a type of complementary healing, using hands-on and energy-based techniques to balance and align the human energy field. Body, mind, emotion and spirit are touched through this process."

"I am The Rev. Dr. Richard Guarino. I was Ordained in June, 2000.

In my Ministry, I perform weddings, Marital Spiritual Counseling, Home Purification and blessing rites, preach and champion the cause for traditional conservative values as they relate to modern issues, provide guidance based on morality and ethics, quest for victory of justice over evil, as well as to guide the abberant to redemption."

" I was ordained in June of 2000. I am a Daughter of Our Lady of Guadalupe with nearly 20 years experience in helping others with their day to day problems. Using the Spiritual gifts that Our Lady has given me, I do readings, petitions, and give guidence to those who seek my help for a reasonable love offering, as this is how I support myself so that I may continue to serve others. Please contact me by email to seek my services. May Our Lady bless and keep you!"

"As a minister of the ULC and a Doctor of Naturopathy, I specialize in bringing people closer to nature and their God. I am a non-denominational minister and will perform most types of ceremonies in the manner that you see fit
Rev. Tod Todd"

All of these smack of New Age or Catholicism, or even both. Now I know some will ask, "What's wrong with Catholicism?" That's a very good question with a very in-depth answer. For right now I will give this much:

Jesus never said to pray to anyone but the Father

Jesus is our high priest, and when the veil tore we were given direct access to the Father. We no longer need anyone, especially another fallen man, to go before God on our behalf.

God ordained marriage, almost from the beginning, so how does a religion or denomination defend that its spiritual leaders may not marry. This is the reason so many of the priests sin, they are not allowed to participate in the God-ordained process of life. So when desires come on them they fall.

I know there are many problems in the "ecclesia" - the true church of God, but there is an even bigger problem when Satan can masquerade as an angel of light before us and we not know it. Again, this is why I have said so much on this subject. Also, I began posting to this forum without stating that I was an ordained minister because I didn't think it was necessary to flaunt credentials. The only reason I have mentioned it now, and posted with my title, is so every can know that I am not some nut or a beginner. I journeyed a long time before I was allowed to take the step of ordination, I have spent time getting to know the word. I have even had some experience with groups such as the ULC, but on a smaller scale.

This all said, I know there is a need to expose sin; to expose Satan and his schemes, but there is also a point when one has said and done all they can. I do not intend to speak again on this subject, and I suggest that we as a group find another topic as well.

In the Love of Christ,
Pastor Terry Morgan
