Subject: i want to go out with him again

my names kittie and i met a guy namd brian like a month or two ago, but when i first met him i didn't pay much attention to him. but as we got to know eachother, we started to like eachother. but he had an ex-girlfriend who still was totally in love with him and from the moment she saw me hated me. well, brian told me one night he liked me and i was shocked to hear him say it. but then like two days later he told me they were back together and i kinda cried, because he was telling me "it sucks because i don't want to go out with her i want to go out with you but i'll never be able to because of her". i told him maybe he just shouldn't have a girlfriend. so like 4 days later they had been broken up and it was just me and him and he asked me out. i was happy and so was he and it lasted a week. now i'm sooo upset because i want to go out with him i mean no one has to tell me it was only a week so who cares, because if it wasn't me crying over this i would say the same thing. but can anyone help and tell me if maybe we'll ever go out again?
