Subject: i want my ex back

My boyfriend, Ryan and I have been together for 5 almost 6 months. We broke up once for about a week because of my parents. They found out I slept at his house the one night and my dad grabbed him by the neck when he came to pick me up. Before Ryan came to pick me up I had a fight with my parents and they said that if I didnt like their rules to pack my bags and get out...so I was leaving, I was going to hang out with Ryan and he was going to take me to my friends house. When I went to leave thats when my dad came running out the door and grabbed him by the neck and startede shaking him telling Ryan to tell him what was going on. Thats when Ryan broke up with me 2 days later. Then we got back together 4 days after he broke up with me, then after about 3 weeks he broke up with me again and said that we didnt need a "title" (boyfriend and girlfriend) and that titles were stupid anyway. But its important to girls and he thought I was wierd because I wanted a "title" and then after being together without a "title" he ditched me and said that we're not together and he doesnt want to be with just ONE girl anymore but he still cares about me. He goes and hangs out with a bunch of other girls but gets mad when he hears that I'm hanging out with guys. I want him back but he says that half of him wants to get back with me and loves me but the other half wants to get over me. I dont know what to do? Should I get over him or stick around and see if he comes back??
