Subject: Will i ever get my ex boyfriend back?

I am nearly 20 now and I split up with my ex boyfriend about a year ago, we were going out with each other for about two years. It was an excellent relationship and he always respected me. The problem was when i was 18 he asked me to marry him, it was a shock to me. I was very scared when he asked me because i was due to go university and do a teacher training course for 4 years so i decided to finish with him, even after he said we would wait to get married after i had graduated. Well we finished and i went to uni, When i went home during the christmas and easter hoildays we ended up bumping into each other and spent the night togther, and decided we wanted to be with each again, but when i went back to ui i managed to forget and ignore him and brush him off. I then met another lad and couldnt go out with him, because all the time i was thinking about my ex. So when i went home during the summer we ended back togther after we had, had a talk. The problem is he has a girlfriend who has just had a baby. He keeps telling me he will finish with her because he is not happy with her and wants to be with me, so i decided we could go out until he did finish with her, He keeps saying he will but i think i have lost him because of the new baby in his life, i think i have lost him and i cannot stop thinking about him often i will sit and break down because i want to be with him. i cant stop messaging him,i want to be with him and he says he wants to be with me it will just take time. is it worth waiting in hope? I love him alot and he is the only man to have ever respected me. I know he is right for me, the reson i finished with him is because i was worried about what other people wanted instead of what i wanted. Is it to late? do i need to let go and forget? will i ever get him back? and will i ever stop thinking about him?
