So you say you are an atheist and God can not be proved,
And even if he does exist his powers been removed,
That he is of no true effect within this earthly place,
And you just simply won't believe until you see his face.
A cynic full of questions shrouded with veils of doubt,
You walk your life built on mistrust while thrashing all about.
Inside you're hiding emptiness and fear of being alone,
The mask you choose is trying to prove you have a heart of stone.

So you say you are a leader in control of your own life,
That you are self-reliant and can handle any strife,
Always demanding logic or some reason that makes sense,
Expounding those who do believe are living in pretense.
An achiever who is out to prove that you are in control,
Ignoring the only light and love that will truly make you whole.
Inside you're hiding such a fear of losing self-command,
The mask you choose is to ignore surrender to his hand.

So you say you are a thinker and can simply use your mind,
By sifting through your feelings in hopes that you will find,
A small hint of his presence buried deep inside your heart,
And once you find that little spark than life will truly start.
A dreamer who so desperately reflects on inner views,
In search of one small ray of light, something you can use,
Inside your hiding all the pain disguised as an illusion,
The mask you choose is one that's always facing some confusion.

So you say you are an Idealist who's completely self aware,
You know the secrets of your heart and what is hiding there,
And through this inner knowledge you feel to a degree,
That God does not ever hold you wrong and you are truly free.
A liberator who desires to break the chains that bind,
In hopes of finding forgiveness from your troubled mind.
Inside you're hiding all the knowledge of things that you have done,
The mask you choose is to do your best, detached from everyone.

So you say you are an adventurer who is always on the run,
This world is merely just a place where we can all have fun,
Eager to try anything that sounds exciting and new,
For surely you're approved by him and he'll watch over you.
An explorer out to see the world no matter what the cost,
For surely all my endeavors are more than all I lost.
Inside you're hiding feelings that are wrapped in fantasy,
The mask you choose is simply one of self--absorbency.

So you say you are a prophet and know that God is real,
That only through your humbleness will you ever heal,
Accepting and forgiving of the ones who sometimes fall,
For deep inside you know yourself are capable of it all.
A redeemer who willingly stands in awe of all his grace,
Able to see past all the masks that covers others face,
Inside you know all life itself, is a miracle made real,
The mask you choose is joy you get in helping others heal.
