Author: Daffodil Angel
Subject: Chinaman's Hat

I crawl out into the crevice into the vast nature where the dawn amalgamates with the moonlight
Staring out there upon the tinctures of the forest sentinels, shielding the fecund soil from the sunlight’s smite
Now I have been getting myself a little touch of selflessness
Up upon the apex of Chinaman’s hat, where the alpine angels collaborate with the zenith’s spirits
Looking at finding myself some beauty, but this carpediem falls down on me like the morning rain
All these conceptions of revivification are aggrandizing upon my soul, all wholesome and tame
I can stare right through this vague onyx mirror that embraces the silky, cyan atmosphere
Straight up, I can see the light piercing through the pacific brim of the terrain, and the rain disappears
The chilly mist allures it’s carefree scarf upon my shoulders, as I silently kiss the sky
I head down into the malachite canyon, stepping down upon the chinaman’s rugged sleeve
The titans granite eyes, dappled with glistening mica continues to stare right upon me
As I trance my sacred footsteps down upon his shoulders to the briny lapis sea

(There is a mountain off the shore of the Hawaiian island of Oahu, which has a pointy top. Legend has it that a long time ago a giant Chinaman was walking the ocean until he fell and sunk off the shore of the island, and his hat still floats on the surface)
