March 22 — Pop singer Lance Bass is going through Russian medical tests for a potential space flight with the same vigor he brings to the concert stage, a TV producer involved in the project told MSNBC.com Friday. He’s really pumped. If Bass passes the tests, and if negotiations go as hoped, a deal to send Bass to the international space station this fall could be reached within days.
