Actually it's only a very small percentage of the population that are protesting. The silent majority is staying home minding their bus. and going on with life. 20.000 people in front of the government buildings in Victoria does not mean to much to the government. It will not change a thing as far as the Liberals are concerned.
After all, how is the government suppose to continue, you cannot spend money without having money. It's very simple, BC will have to start digging for oil and gas. The lumber deal with the US needs to be solved. Only a boost in the economy will change the situation. Looks to me that the federal government don't seem the care about western Canada. I don't see any activity coming out of Ottawa to help BC with the lumber problems. Let's face it, we'll be all Americans in about 20 years, unless our federal government shows some guts.
