Subject: Whew...

Opening the door to their shared quarters, Jhashaya allows Korun to enter first. He runs about, curiously pulling and tugging on things, Jhashaya chasing after him to prevent him from making more of a mess of himself. No such luck. He tugs on a wall hanging one time too many, and ends up weariing a rather handsome cloak to match his soulmate's. Jha's smile refuses once again to repress itself. The brown looks sheepish, and his yellow-gold eyes are filled with attempted cuteness. It works rather well.
I'll be good. Take bath now...
After drawing warm water and preparing a brush to clean Korun's hide, Jhashaya gives the brown a boost into the tub. As she scrubs him, she notes the swirls of chocolate brown that are now visible on his honey-colored hide. It really is quite a handsome pattern.
That does feel better. he admits grudgingly, attempting to get out.
Now wait just a minute, young man! Jhashaya catches him and sets him firmly back in the tub, then carefully oils Korun's scales to a polished sheen. NOW, you're done.
We'll have great adventures tomorrow, right?
The little brown trundles over to his cushion, too tired to await his human's answer, stretches out his neck, breathes a weary sigh, and is soon snoring with a noise like a horde of chargers on a bridge.
"Oy..." Jhashaya says aloud, preparing herself a meal from the rations in her pack. "I'll get that wall hanging washed tomorrow."

Sharathis leans her staff against the wall in the room next door, while Mylensikaal acquaints herself with the place. She carefully avoids making too much of a mess as she heads for a bath of her own accord.
Let's get all the blood off. I'd rather not go around looking like I've been in a serious fight unless I have been.
Sharathis enters the bath chamber to find the green has already leapt up into the tub, no doubt with the help of a lot of physics, and is waiting patiently for the water to be drawn. The sorceress complies immediately.
She too notices the pattern on her dragonet's hide, this time almost blue-green stripes cross the back, leading into mazelike complexity near the belly, all on a background of lime green scales. It doesn't take very long to get Mylensikaal clean, as she is not so accustomed to playing around in the dirt. When she is dried and oiled, she leaps gracefully out of the tub, carefully accross the bed, and precisely onto the center of the cushion.
Not only good at physics, but geometry too.
Yes, of course!
You're a smart one, aren't you?
Well, the hatchling looks up at her soulmate with modest violet eyes, I am a green, you know.
She drifts off to sleep, wondering about the meaning of life.
