Rob!

My wife & I are real Indian food enthusiasts! Every two weeks or so we get a real Jones for it! Curry is an exotic Indian mixture of spices which English colonists grew to love during the Dutch East India trade routes and the reign of Queen Victoria. It can be super-hot like some Vindaloos or just really pungent and savory like Chicken Tikka Masala. Brits have never gotten over it's allure and brought it home massively to the UK after Indian independence. That's why next to fish & chips it's their #1 takeaway meal!

There's some really good places in NYC to sample curry in NYC. East 6th St btw 2nd & 3rd, Curry Hill on Lexington around 28th St and Little India in Jackson Heights! My roomate in college was from New Delhi and got me into the stuff! Nothing like a good Korma (sweet curry with almonds) and a nice cold Taj Mahal Lager!!
