There is a reason why they are asking these questions. Several years ago The Spirit magazine did an interview with the funeral director who worked at the funeral home where Brian was laid out. He told The Spirit that for some strange reason, which he didn't understand, Brian's hair was bleached white, and that he was embalmed. I didn't understand the embalmed part myself, but I was told that it is not standard procedure in England to embalm a body -- even to this day. The guy at the funeral home also told The Spirit that Brian's body was buried at a very unusual depth, which he also didn't understand. As for the casket being bought for Brian by Bob Dylan, that's what was written in a book.

I tried explaining to someone that there could be a logical explanation for Brian being buried so deep. It could be because his parents are going to be buried on top of him, which would mean that Brian had to be put down about ten feet in order to fit two other caskets in the ground (some cemetery's allow three burials to a plot and others only two, depending on the cemetery. The one I work at only goes two deep.). I was told by someone that Brian's parents are going to be buried next to his sister Pamela, who died in 1945, because there is an open burial plot next to her grave. Of course, that's assuming the plot is owned by Brian's parents and not another family. Lets assume Brian's parents are not going to be buried in the same plot as Brian, that doesn't mean it's not cemetery procedure to bury his body at full depth. If the cemetery was not told by the funeral home (usually by family orders) that only one person is going in this plot, and that there is no need to bury him at normal depth (10-12 feet), than the cemetery would probably dig the grave for three burials. Someone has to tell the cemetery that only one person will be buried in this plot, the cemetery is probably not going to assume it on their own without any authorization.

There is too much speculation about Brian's burial procedure in order to draw any suspicion.
