I am wondering how this traditional Sufi farming community views women and, culturally, what are their traditional roles in this society? The musician seem to be all male, which really isn't an indication of too much, but...

The reason I ask is because I have travelled through a few places that very much looked down on single females out and about without being escorted by a husband and I didn't want a repeat should I decide to go to Morocco (a place I have wanted to visit for a long time). I have googled and have not been able to come up with real answers.

Thanks in advance for any insight.
