Obviously your review is your opinion and it is no more or less valid than anybody elses. I'm not pissed because you didn't like a certain band, but YOU cross the line by attacking the band, insulting them and showing a general lack of respect. This shows a lack of professionalism as a reviewer. It doesn't matter if you review for a small web-zine or for a national newspaper, the same standards should apply. Do Conqueror or Dark Horizon Records deserve to be told that their work sounds retarded? That your mock-black metal project sounds better? You are entitled to think so but saying such things shows a lot of disrespect and the aforementioned lack of professionalism (ie keeping it objective and not making personal attacks).

Would you walk up to Ryan or J.Read and tell them that their music sounds retarded? If you would fair enough. I don't know how they would respond. If someone said that about one of my releases I would beat the crap out of them. But if you wouldn't say that to their faces, don't hide behind a pseudonym and have such comments published.
