My son bought me the Eat Peach CD box set for Christmas. After listening to it, I was reminded of great memories from Summer Jam. I was going to Elmira College at the time. My room mate called me up and told me about and a bunch were going camping. I was a sophmore, I had done drugs and drank a lot my first year. But this was the biggest party freak show I had ever been to and it was great. We got to the stage area very early in the morning and still couldn't get very close. We had a blanket and a cooler and the was our space. After awhile there were lines of people just walking around because there wasn't any place to sit. Basically all this stuff was going around near us but we just sat there and really dug the music. It was the best party I had ever been to even to this day.
