Thanks for the pics on Powder Ridge-I had forgoten the pond! I forget alot a things from those daze but I do remember hitchin' from Pokeepsie with two other guys- one named Mike form Oklahoma City who had a sister we visited in Plesant Valley, NY Where are ya Mike? The first night on the way was a victory for the mesquitos. We lost a million to one! Next day caught a hippie bus-ya know the converted school bus type-right to Middleton. I remember being happy to finally visit the town where the childrens mag "Weekly Reader" was located. Didn't look them up though. Off the bus at the road blocks and through the back way onto the grounds. First folks we met were a couple with the chic topless and blowing soap bullbles. I appropriatly said to my friends-Look at those bubbles!!!
