Four of us from Brookville, Pa drove up to the Glen over night and we arrived just before dawn. The Mustang wouldn;t do the "hill" so we pulled off along the road about halfway up. When we began on up over the hill it was just getting light and as we walked on along the "road"
the sights became unforgettable. Did anybody else see the dude with the invisible dog? The armored carrier full of trays of hash? Some poor dude sitting on top of a giant pile of newspapers, READING! The "Bad ASS Betty" flag flying over a large tent? My point in making this contact is to note that we were camped along a cyclone fence with a large U.S. Flag turned upside down behind us for shade. We were approached by a female interviewer and a crew carrying a large newsreel type camera and filmed against that backdrop smoking a double-coiled pipe. The photographic record is certainly more extensive than what I have so far found. I will keep an eye open and keep my search up. On July 25,10, three of the gang got together and recalled our experiences at the Glen. Undoudtedly, there will never be another such event on this planet.
