I was there also. I remember running around naked for days and getting very sick from swimming in the little pond there. We got there early in the week and spent a lot of time in the pond. When the doctor arrived (Dr. Abruzzi, I believe his name was) he had the water tested and posted a list of about a dozen different disease causing organisms that were found. Typhus, diptheria, and dysentery are three that come to mind.

I also remember Melanie playing several times on one of the smaller stages. She had snuck in with just her guitar.

I would love to see the article when you are done.
