My 69 ford van was carring the food and beer for a group of about 30 bikers form the State College Altoona PA area. I ask that the bikers try to stay with us on the road but they were positive that they would find us once we all arrived at Watkin Glen..... WRONG We never saw them again. My van passagers and I were very popular as we dispensed Free HotDogs, Hamburgers, and beer for 2 days.
We were so far away during the Greatful Dead set, that we could not see the stage. We took advantage of the raid storm to work our way to within aoubt 30 yards of the stage and stayed in that location until the end. HiTimes were had by all. I remember the DUCK as well.
