Today is Christmas 2012. My ex-wife gave me an apparently fake repo poster of the show. She has a good heart. That Friday I called in sick at work, told my parents I was spending the weekend at a friends house and off I went. Hitchhiking across New York. A kid from California who's parents were transfered to Conn. I was going to Chico State. I did not know a single soul at the show yet I spent the entire time among friends. When it rained someone shared their tent with me. When they had no... well I helped out there. I still have a ceramic herb smoking object I purchased that day. I really have trouble looking at the people playing in the mud. In my mind they were right underneath the line of potapotties that were all overflowing. I remember kids in the car I got a ride in jumping out ten miles or more away from the show thinking we were there. I kept the guy driving going until when he parked his stationwagon he could see the stage from his front seat. On and on go the memories, Merry Christmas everyone. Long Live the Grateful Dead!!!
