Einem Herzen befehlen?

Einem Herzen kann man nicht befehlen, was es fühlen soll.
Es fühlt, ganz allein,
bei jedem Wort, das es hört,
bei jedem Bild, das es sieht.

Einem Herzen kann man nicht befehlen, was es empfinden soll.
Es empfindet, ganz allein,
bei allem was du tust,
bei allem was du denkst.

Einem Herzen kann man nicht befehlen, wann es glücklich sein soll.
Es ist glücklich, ganz allein,
bei jeder sanften Berührung,
bei jedem lieb gesagten Wort.

Einem Herzen kann man nicht befehlen, wann es traurig sein soll.
Es ist traurig, ganz allein,
bei jeder bösen Tat,
bei jedem bösen Wort.

Einem Herzen kann man nicht befehlen, wann es weinen soll.
Es weint, ganz allein,
bei jeder Wunde die ihm zugefügt,
bei jedem Schmerz den man ihm antut.

Einem Herzen kann man nicht befehlen, was es zu tun und zu lassen hat,
es fühlt, es empfindet, es ist glücklich, es ist traurig und es weint,
ganz allein, wann immer ihm danach ist.

Auch wenn man einem Herzen nicht befehlen kann,
man kann beeinflussen was es tut,
und irgendwann es, bei zuviel schlechtem, zerbricht.
Ganz allein.
