 I am looking for any first hand accounts of the kamikazi attack on TG 51.1 on 2 April 1945. My father, Dan Carney FC2 served aboard the USS Telfair APA 210. He passed away 8 April 2002 and I am researching the event in the hopes of creating a published work. In addition to the fact that I would love to contact anyone who knew Dad, any accounts, photos or documentation would help to make project an honorable tribute to Dad and all who were there.
