 Hello to all,
Looking to contact any crewmemember of the Wayne. My Dad, George P. Stanley, Sr., Chief Machinist's Mate served 1943? thru 1945. I saw his name on the website as the Royal Scribe in Neptunus Rex Crossing the Equator. (He had already crossed the equator in the 1930's aboard the USS Hull which made him a shellback(?) mossback(?)) My sister and I are putting together a history of our Dad and uncles: Bill Stanley, Chief Boatswain's Mate and Vince Stanley, Chief Boatswain's Mate.
