 I believe it was first your age then marital status and then the amount of time spent overseas. I was young (19)at the end of the war and served about 30 odd months or so and not married
so I was one of the last to leave for discharge which I thought was a bummer at the time. There were guys that were older married and maybe spent about a year in the service and was discharged before me. Looking back on it and them having a family was the best basis for points. Hope this helps.
