 There are links to several Sampson Veterans groups on this site. Check them out and leave messages there.
What ship did he serve on? What was his Rating and Rank? What other information do you have available? I started with the name of his ship, his company picture and a list of the men in his Company at boot. From there it mushroomed...
Odds are very good that he would not have been stationed with the men he trained with at Sampson.
The more information you have available, the more you will be able to find.
There are also links on this site where you can get his service record. From there you can really expand your search.
