Help us out... looks like frosh Charlie Bell had a good game, and Donovan a good second half...

Here is the official recap:

BALTIMORE (Dec. 2)-- Matt Hammond scored 14 points in 28 minutes off the bench to lead three Fairleigh Dickinson players in double figures as the Knights improved to 3-0 with a hard-fought 61-56 win over Loyola in a men's basketball game played at Reitz Arena Monday night.

The Knights, who are 3-0 for the first time since the 1998-99 season, led 31-27 at halftime and looked to be pulling away in the second half, taking a 51-44 lead on Iman Mattox's three-pointer with 6:59 left. The Greyhounds (1-3) would then cut the lead to as few as three points twice, including with 59 seconds remaining on a DeLonnie Southall putback, but FDU point guard Marcus Whitaker made a huge three-pointer from the top of the key on his team's next possession to put the game away.

Freshman guard Charlie Bell led Loyola with a season-high 14 points, including three three-pointers in a 1:21 span midway through the first half that turned a 14-11 FDU lead into a 20-16 Loyola advantage. The game was tied at 27 late in the first half before the Knights got two inside baskets from Hammond in the final minute to take a four-point lead.

Loyola outrebounded the Knights 41-30, and held FDU to just 39 percent (22-57) shooting from the field, but still fell to Knights for the 16th time in 20 all-time meetings. FDU was playing at Reitz Arena for the first time since 1989.

Hammond shot 7-for-10 from the field and also had four rebounds, two blocks and two steals for FDU. Donovan Thomas had all of his season-high 12 points in the second half for Loyola, which returns to conference action with a home game against Niagara Thursday night at Reitz Arena.
