I'm not a Loyola Lacrosse historian by any means, but for such an overhyped program, has it ever been really good? I remember they lost in the finals in 90 to Syracuse. Did they ever make another Final Four appearance?

Was this not the typical year in the 90s? Preseason rank #7. Solid season, reach as high as #4. Lose in first round of the playoffs, usually at home.

Keep in mind, this was our performance when their were roughly 10 colleges in the country that took lacrosse seriosly.

Now that more competition has creeped up on us, it looks like we are pretty average. Did we make the tourney last year?

Here's a thought for the administration. If you don't want to try and compete on the level of a Maryland, North Carolina, Princeton, Duke, Georgetown, etc - in lacrosse. How about we try and compete with Fairfield, Iona and Manhattan in basketball. Surely that is more realistic.
