Skip was on Mike & the Mad Dog on WFAN yesterday from New Orleans. It was actually a great interview. They opened with Russo asking him about going to the tourney with Loyola. Skip joked that he tried to leave at halftime during the AZ game. (Side note: 2nd person in the media in the last month plus who remembered the 94 team.)

Anyway, Skip said the ACC is a dream conference and even though he is from Pittsburgh, he won't leave Wake.

Pitt had a great year, but Wake is definitely a better gig longterm. Skip may go somewhere else, but not to a place like PITT.

BTW - UNC would be a better gig. Any rumors on that?
