I spent a great deal of my life doubting a belief in God, or at very best conceding to a notion that there may be a Supreme Being simply out of guilty contrition. I think in a sense Neitszche was right when he said God is dead. The God that I was brought up to worship and the God that is portrayed in the double-faced life of most "religious" people, is dead. In fact that God is nothing more than a mere figment or picture of a larger reality.

On the other hand; I know God is real. I can't prove it, I may not even be able to demonstrate it with my actions all of the time but I know this. God, and not just "the universal God," or simply the notion of being religious, but Jesus Christ, God in flesh has changed my life drastically. He has loved me when I've done nothing but hate him with my life and with my actions. He has been faithful when I have been nothing but faithless. As Socrates said, "Everything is relative which proves there must be an absolute." Any way we can experience love, or goodness, or truth in any sense is if there is an ultimate perfect love, goodness, and truth. Since that can and never has been demonstrated or embodied in mere mortality or carnal things then it only stands to reason that God is. Thanks. What do you think Jordan?
