Kid, why are you getting so irrational about all of this? Your mastery of 9th grade vocabulary is truly impressive. Correct spelling and everything. Way to go. Now onto the business end of things. This "holier than thou" attitude really has to stop. See, I didn't realize that I put words into your mouth or anything of that nature.
All I really need to say is "Easy, back it up a little." You aren't going to break my heart with anything you have to say. My main concern with you is that you seem to hold your opinion in higher regard than you hold mine. You can't just let me hold my own, can you? You're fighting an invisible beast here. I have yet to get emotional over this, it is a debate and that's all it is. So take it down a notch. I have carefully read everything that you have posted on here. The problem with type is that there is no way to convey tones or emotion, everything is strictly interpreted by the reader. I am not holding myself on any pedestal right now, I just believe in my opinion. If you don't, feel free to add any input you want, just do it cordially. It's rediculous to tell me (with incorrect grammar, might I add) about any paradigm you see. I am at a point where I am only trying to goad you right now because you seem to be very excitable. So, please, take it down a notch and we can have this little debate in good spirits.
Just play along, it will be interesting. I promise you this. All will go well. You wanna try this?
I'll start:
I spent the first eighteen years of my life in churches that I didn't agree with on their views. Then I came to the realization that I can worship on my own accord, with no one telling me "This is what this passage means", I was free to take my own interpretation. So I ran with it. I have read the bible over several times, and I found a belief structure I can base my life around, never negating anything the book says. It all goes to heart. Now if you disagree, that's your deal. All I was trying to say earlier was that the statement in question ("I believe that God knows that everyone is basically good, and they will all go to heaven." was that there is no denomination of the Christian church that subscribes to that school of thought. At least not one that I have encountered, and for the record, if you know one, I would very much like to know, because I obviously didn't catch that service. And in the way I put it, all I said was "Have you ever considered.....", and if you have never been up until 5 o'clock in the morning, just so you know, everything gets a little funny with the deliria that runs circles around you, hence the laughter.
You didn't need to make any direct statement to let me know that you had already made your judgments about me. Just making the absurd statement about the paradigm was enough to prove my point about the judgment. In fact, you've got me pegged, don't you? It's okay, it just says you'll be surprised later. I know my answers aren't the answers for everyone, but I am always going to throw ideas on the table that might or might not help someone. It's what I do, and I can't possibly see how it is wrong. I am not going to tell anyone that they are wrong in their beliefs, end of story.
Feel free to recant or not, it's strictly up to you.
