Hello, and thanks so much for your email! Build-A-Bear Workshop is comprised of various stations involved in creating and personalizing your very own furry friend. Our first station, the “Choose Me” station, gives guests the opportunity to see all of the different furry friends we have available—this is where they choose the animal they will make.

The the guests take the “skin” of their new friend (pre-sewn, but not pre-stuffed), to the next station.

At our, “Hear Me” station, for $3-$8, we have sounds that you can put inside your animal, such as songs, phrases, and animal noises. There is even a sound for you to record a personalized message!

We have big stuffer machines at our "Stuff Me" station — as an associate holds the animal up to the machine, we ask the guests to stomp their foot on the floor pedal. This pumps the stuffing into the animal. To make sure we have it stuffed just right, we invite the guest to give their new cuddly new friend a hug test. Once the animal is completely cuddly and huggable, the guest picks out a heart, makes a very special wish, and puts it into the animal.

The “Fluff Me” station, which comes next, is a special bathtub for the animals—they get a good brushing and are sent through the air bath to make sure they are fluffy and looking their beary best.

At our “Name Me” station, guests can create a personalized birth certificate or story on the computer about their new friend.

Our last station, “Dress Me”, is where guests can accessorize and dress their animal in the beary latest fashions.

Our “Dress Me” and “Hear Me” stations are the only stations that require an additional fee above and beyond the cost of the animal itself. These are optional—if you choose not to purchase clothing and accessories we have ribbons and bows in lots of fun colors that we can tie around the animal's ears or neck. Every new furry friend goes home in our cub condo home which the guests can color or decorate! If we can be of further assistance, please feel free to e-mail us at your convenience. Thanks again!
