(.coal black colt snorts at his mother again, annoyed at her foolish antics. She was foolish, he was not. It was a miracle, or a disaster, that they were related. Colt looks up at his father, anxious for his training to begin. He wished to play a part in the development of the herd. He did not care that he was but 1 month away from the starting date of the training. He snorts and bucks in anticipation.)
