He nears her and stretches out his neck and raises his upper lip, giving a loud 'honk'. He then walks up the mare and sniffs her, starting at the head and working his way back. He pays particular attention to her rump, seeing if she was in heat. Ebon stallion trots away, snorting in approval.)
