Subject: 98 windstar vacum problems ?

 Air condition/heat control knob has no vacum to it. I can manualy move solenoids to change ducting but I can not find the line (vacum) that goes through the firewall. Is there a valve on the manifold that may not be actuating. Engine does not act like it has a vacum leak. When I unplug a vacum line on the manifold the engine changes its idle. Do I have a vacum problem or electrical one. All fuses check good, relays..? Blower comes on just fine, just cant get air anywhere but the defrosters. JG
