QUITTNER replies: If it is true that God inspired the various "holy" scriptures at one time, many years ago, then it is ALSO TRUE that God has done so ever since, and that all these ancient texts together with their many copies and translations are OBSOLETE and SUPERSEDED in the 21st century.
