((^_^ I know. I do a lot of horse RPing, and believe me, "femme" is a BIG female word in those games. Comes from habit, sorry...and yes, even though it*s French, I can still use it in English. My dictionary has two definitions; first is woman or wife. Yes, second is "lesbian," but since woman or wife is first, I'll just assume that if someone does look it up, they'll go with the first meaning.
Also, about the blue...I don't think it ever says in the books that blues Impress women, but I know it happens a lot in RPGs. *shrug*))

Cool blue-grey gaze swept from one sphere to the other, finally settling on the second to break. A blue, so the femme didn't hold much hope...but it was still there, still strong. The hatching was young, only two dragonets were free...three now. Straightening, pushing off her stone support, absently smoothing the harper-blue tunic. not that a dragonet would care what you wore. She reminded herself, moving her attention to the green. But it was too late. The jade creature had chosen already, a male. To the female's surprise, the blue, too, had made a choice...the other young woman standing in the sands. ah well, who can say what a dracling will choose... A small shrug to herself signified her indifference. Instead of dwelling on the thought, she focused on the next egg to rock, tensing as the dragon within began to break free...
