I believe you are correct Trent.

Boxed sets released in the UK were:
Main Game Quest Book (UK Quest Book) (There are 2 different sets of Rule Books!)
Kellar's Keep (UK Quest Book)
Return of the Witchlord (UK Quest Book)
The Wizards of Morcar (UK Quest Book)
Against the Ogre Hoard (UK Quest Book)

And, boxed sets released in the US were:
Main Game (US Quest Book)
Kellar's Keep (US Quest Book)
Return of the Witchlord (US Quest Book)
Elf Quest: The Mage of the Mirror (US Quest Book)
Barbarian Quest: The Frozen Horror (US Quest Book)

There are major differences between the UK and US versions. There are the items you mentioned Karmond
and many more. Including the original UK version had all Monsters at 1 Body Point and other items that threw game play way off.

If you would like copies most of the above plus many other "Official" HeroQuest downloads (from the HeroQuest Books, Marvel Comics, White Dwarf Magazines as well as many other official sources) are available from:

And, if you want the Chaos Spell Cards (or, any other card) you can use Trent's HQ Card Creator (see Trent's previous post for link).

Hey Trent, When are we gonna see Version 2? Yes, I know you hate that question... But, if we keep buggin' you, we may be able to change your mind about not updating it!
