Subject: Precise synchronization isn't critical in a loose-traction environment (like dirt...); as a matter of fact, some 4wd race vehicles are equipped with different gearing front to rear. Still, you must set up your ESC's so that they are close. You can run the battery packs parellel or serial--depending upon how much power vs. longevity you want. I'll see if I can get Nelson to post here with a full description of his awesome E-Maxx (he runs 24!!! cells).
