Celes sighed in her sleep, dreams plaguing her. Kier chirped in alarm.
"No." Celes whispered, her voice thin. It was soft enough so no one except Kier would hear. The little blue snuggled beside his friend. Celes's nightmares were plaguing them both.

Celes sat up, drenched in sweat. Kier was reawoken.
"Kier." Celes's voice was slightly cracked. "What if we are found out? I can't go back. They'll kill me." Celes whispered. Kier tried his best to mollify his friend, but she was stiff with fear. "Maybe we should run." The blue disagreed with that emphatically. Celes set her jaw after seeing the blue's determination. "You're right, Kier. I'm no coward. I'll see this through. I'll go somewhere else if I have to after Impression." Celes's voice was low. "But I got myself into this and I swear by Faranth I'll see it through."
