The sky was beginning to fall into darkness when Tryn awoke, stiff from sleeping in a rather awkward position between Falanth, the wall, and the head of her bunk. Slowly she rose, carefull not to strech too quickly for fear of pulling something painful. The femme slipped off the bed and turned to the gold dracling that was taking already occupying a good half of her own sleeping place. For all her slight stature, Falanth was still a fast-growing dragon. Tryn smiled fondly at her and then ventured towards the door of the barracks. Falanth would sleep a bit longer. Outside, Tryn pivoted to look at the horizon. Still some daylight left. But where, she mused, was the Weyrlingmaster? She'd thought he'd be there by now...surely they wouldn't leave the hatchlings and their Impressed to their selves? Well, she had no intention of sitting around twiddling her thumbs. Falanth would soon need oil, or no doubt she already did, so that was her first task. Off to the dining hall, then...
