Hey, everybody. I am new here. I just barely found this site through the WELOVESARAH website today and figured out how to join the fanclub.

I first heard Sarah in Phantom when I was 12 yrs old. (FYI I am 17 now) I first fell in love with Michael Crawford, but a few years later I decided to check her out too. The first c.d. I got was Dive, and now I think I've got enough to last me forever. Or at least until her next one comes out.

Have any of you here heard of Josh Groban? He sang with Sarah on the first leg of her La Luna tour, doing "There For Me" with her. He has an amazing voice that I think could heal anything. Especially a broken heart....

Well, just wanted to say "HI", so now that I've said it, I think I will go to finish my laundry!!

Bye, y'all!!

Hi Hollie> I also am a newbie but a fan of Sarah's for about 5 years now. I have seen SB in concerts on 4 different occasions and I never tire of her voice or her beautiful renditions while performing. She truly fascinates me with her voice and many different "looks". One moment she appears as "the girl next door" and the next she will perform as the world class diva that she is!!

I'm not sure, but I think this "forum" may have closed and you and I may be the only ones communicating. If so - it's nice to meet you Hollie and I suppose we could continue to exchange Sarah stories until this thing goes up in smoke!!
Anyway, I'm Gary and I'm probably old enough to be your grandfather, but that doesn't stop me from being an avid fan of Sarah! Take care - hope to talk with you again! GO SARAH B!!!

What's up? Not a whole lot here, just checkin my email then I decided to jump over here (G-r-r-r-r-r-r, I'm having a really hard time spelling my words right!!) and see what was goin' on.

I'm not surprised AT ALL that Sarah has fans in all age groups as well as all ethnic groups. Her music touches the soul and a soul is a soul no matter where it happens to lie.

I don't really have many Sarah stories, except for going to her La Luna concert, which I'm not sure if I put in my last message or not. I don't think I did, so let me tell you about it....

It was in March of last year (2001) and my sister got me two tickets for getting nothing lower than a "C" on my report card. She doesn't like Sarah (she's odd...) so she let me take a friend. I chose a friend who had never heard of Sarah Brightman. Sam (my friend) thought Sarah was a pop artist until she did Figlio Perduto, then she's all like "she's got to lip-syncing this!!" But, soon she was convinced that Sarah is all she seems to be and more, and now she's just as hooked as I am. We were dancing in the streets after the show when we were waiting for my dad to come pick me up. We kinda joked about going to find the backstage area, but then we decided not to. I kinda regret that, but there's nothing I can do about it now except wait for her next concert to come to Salt Lake City and not repeat that mistake!

How about you? Which concerts of hers have you been to?

I can't wait for her next c.d. to come out! Have you heard anything about what it will be like? Besides phenomenal?

Well, I have to go now. I gotta check on some other things and get ready to go to my grandmother's to help her get set in her new apartment. Talk to you later!!

Hi Hollie:
Good to hear from you again! I've been a bit busy but now I have some time to talk abou Sarah B. Your trip to her concert sounds really neat and I can tell that you and Sam had a great time! She is super in her concerts. Oh congratulations on getting a great report card! With an incentive like Sarah B. tickets, what more would one need??I have two daughters, so I know where your coming from!! Mine are a little older though; one a lawyer down in Miami and the other a Museum Director in Pensacola. Oh did I tell you I am in Florida, where a whole lot of you young students from High School and College come to "Spring Break"!! Fort Walton Beach and Destin are just a stones throw away!! So if you come down this way during your education endeavors - give me a call! Now, about Sarah! I went to her first concert "One Night In Eden" in 1999. I went with my daughter Christine (Who saw Sarah in "Phantom of The Opera" when she,(my daughter) was studying for the summer at Oxford University in England! As you know, Sarah's part in Phantom was that of "Christine"!! So how cool is that!!! My daughter had met a soccer player from Luxenbourg and he invited her on a date to see the show! My daughter is a very lucky young lady, wouldn't you say?? We had a lot of fun at the EDEN concert, which was held in Miami. Sarah was just perfect and my daughter knows how much I love her music, so as we were walking out after the concert she said "Dad, you are grinning like a cheshire cat!! And you know what- I was!! Notice that some time when you look at one of Sarah's concerts on VCR or DVD, how the audience is smiling from ear to ear in appreciation of her tremendous talents! You know you have been entertained after a Sarah B concert. Boy< I have written so much already and have so much more! So, let me leave you hanging, by just saying that I will cover the other 3 concerts in New Orleans, East Lansing, Mich., and Jacksonville, Fl on our next Sarah B update!!! Tell me more about you and your Sarah collection and experiences! Been nice chatting with you Hollie - Keep up the good work in school - it's important!! Sound like your Dad?? Ha Ha

Hey, Gary!!!!

Well, you certainly did write a lot..... I have about 45 minutes before I have to leave. I have a summer driver's ed. class and I have a driving group (we drive with an instructor) at 11:00, but I have to leave 1/2 an hour early to get there on time!! My dad works from 5:00 in the morning to 5:00 at night, so I am alone most of the day! Oh well, I kinda like the privacy.

Well, I guess this is where I tell you about my Sarah B. collection! I have a lot.... SO, here goes:

C.D.'s I have:
The Trees They Grow so High
The Songs that Got Away
Surrender: The Unexpected Songs
The Andrew Lloyd Webber Collection
As I Came of Age
Fly 1 and Fly 2 (both copied from the c.d. that Sam got at the La Luna concert)
Dive
Time To Say Goodbye
Eden
La Luna
The Very Best of 1990 - 2000
Encore
A Whiter Shade of Pale/A Question of Honour (single)
Classics

Wow, I have a lot of c.d.'s!!! I have also a few that I made of my own, ya know, out of songs that I downloaded. The only song that I don't have now from the original c.d. but I have it from downloading it is "I Lost My Heart to a Starship Trooper." I like that song! For the longest time I thought that "As I Came of Age" was "As I Come of Age".... I thougth that until I got the c.d. and she said 'came' instead of 'come'!!! Whooooeee!

Well, I also have the 'One Night in Eden' and 'La Luna' DVD's. They're great! Have you seen the video of La Luna? It's not that good. I mean, Sarah's singing and the show is excellent, but the editing is awful! It switches back and forth from different parts of the concerts and it doesn't have all the songs on it. It's still worth it if you can't get the DVD, but if you can, I say get the DVD. Well, I am now talking like I'm making a review from CDNow or something. Sorry 'bout that!

Well, what else to talk about? Not much.........

I think I will go now 'cuz I can't think of anything else to say, so goodbye for now! Talk to ya later!!!
