Classics will not be released in Europe, I think it's not wise because this is an album with the most beautiful classic songs. I work in a CD shop in the south of Holland, and I've brought over a lot of enthousiasme about Sarah's music to a lot of customers. I've already told them about "Classics". Next month I will be ashamed to tell them that it will not come. I'm very happy that I ordered it in the States. I think Angel-records should concidder the whole question. I'm sure this album would be a great succes here in Holland and the rest of Europe.
I can't wait till autumn when Sarah's new album will be released. I hope they won't do the same thing like "CLASSICS".

Classics is a good CD, but most of the songs on it are repeats of songs on other CD's she has released in the states. There are only 4 really new songs on this CD. That's probably why a lot of people took a pass on this one. I don't know about Sarah's popularity in Europe. A friend at work who grew up in Germany said she is a huge name in Germany. But here in the states, she gets NO play time on the radio.

I personally think that Classics is one of the best CDs ever recorded. When she sings DansLaNuit, I get goosebumps, chills. Her voice is so amazing. The reason it did not do as well in the US (in my opinion) as La Luna and Eden is lack of radio play and publicity. Prior to the release of La Luna, Sarah appeared as a surprise guest at an Andrea Bocelli concert in Liberty Park, NJ. She wore the La Luna outfit. Shortly after when LaLuna was released it went to number 16 on the Billboard chart (not just the Crossover chart). She was visible. ,Also, perhaps people did not recognize her on the Classics CD cover with the white hair. Last week, Sarah's special was shown on PBS across the United States. It immediately went gold.
