I am Shay. I am the king's unofficial secretary, and I have been in this place as long as any. I would be the last to defend the king's lack of activity, but he has been a good ruler, and the same to his mate, who is a close friend of mine. You will have me on your side if you allow Crystal and Tharkur to stay and if you let me continue to help with upkeep of the board. That is to say if you can prove as good or better ruler as Tharkur then I am your ally, and if not ... then I am most definatly not your friend.

She steps away, pale eyes narrowed.
