+^+There she lays, waiting, unknowing, and innocent. She cannot yet open her eyes, for she was only borne into this world but the day before. Her mother gave birth, then was killed in battle, and nobody knew who the father might be. So she has no one but herself to depend on, yet she knew nothing of it. A responsible femme had carried her here, for she could not take the tiny one in as her own. So here she lies, waiting for someone to call family...+^+
