slow sweet and lasting
creeping over my eyes, my mouth, my cheeks
alive and free
an open feeling
a forever feeling
with that which has come and gone
and in all the darkness i have endured
i feel the light as it touches my face
as the world warms and breathes
like when you breathe in the early morning
soaked in the pleasure of life
when i share it with you and i love it
with you now forever
because i love you.
