Yeh duniya agar mil bhi jaaye to kya hai..the poem, translated in english... close to my heart.

I do not want the world around me !!!

A world filled with palaces, thrones, and crowns.
A world filled with people unknown,
A world that hates humanity,
A world filled with values chasing material wants.

If you gave me the world today,
If the whole world were lying at my feet..
If I found what I was searching for..
What use would it be if the world belonged to me.

Every body is wounded and every soul is thirsty,
Every mind is confused,
and every heart is filled with sadness.

Is this a world or a house of madness??
A world ..
where the existence of a man is a joke.
where a man has no value,
where a man is a puppet in the society.

A place...
where everyone is dead,
where everyone worships the dead.
where it is cheaper to die than to live.

The youth staring at the sun helplessly,
The flesh sold in the name of love.
Where Love becomes a business,
Where Love is sold at a cost.

What would I do if you gave the world to me?
What use would it be if the world belonged to me.

A world...
where a person is non-existent,
where he sells his soul everyday.
where faithfulness is not respected,
where true friendship means nothing,
where unselfish love has no value,

A world where-
you have to prove your credibility each day.

What would I do if you gave the world to me?
What use would it be if the world belonged to me.

Burn it, turn it to ashes!
Burn the world around me!
Move this world out of my sight!

The world belongs to you, only you.
I do not want the world that lies around me.
