That's a lot of dogma to take on, in a single sitting, even if I had nothing else to do for a week. It proceeds from the basic belief-system in which:

(1) Reagan was believed to be an idiot;

(2) parents are believed to be morally and lawfully subordinate to their children (ergo, a Reagan Daughter would be held accountable for failing to "Straighten-out" her 'idiot-child' father);

(3) The Soviet Union was believed to be no significant threat and--in case that was inaccurate--was believed to be morally entitled to win. AND:

(4) All wealth & income was believed to belong to Holy Nanny Government; ergo tax-increases "Save" things and tax-cuts "cost" money.

Just now I'm a mite busy to engage in a religious dispute with anybody. That aside, I recommend writing your Congresscritters (in the present-tense) on USPS postcards to express your view in temperate language, re: the Hubble. Sign each card: "...Respectfully (and publicly!)" whether in truth you respect that so-&-so a bit. If you don't know your Congresscritters' Snail-mail addresses, go see your Research Librarian at the nearest Public Library or ring-up your local chapter of The League od Women Voters.

I hope to have the time to discuss this Reagan thing in detail *someday,* but this isn't that day and I won't promise something I'm not certain I can deliver. Still I wish you well. RKBA! Best regards.
