~praise is given to the mare and then introduces the saddle. First (still keeping Coal on the lead and halter)lies an english saddle,girth,and pad on the ground in the middle of the corral. She smiles and tapps the stick on the ground but does not direct her just waits untill she goes up to sniff the saddle. When she does she immediatly stops the whip then starts tapping it again when she walks away from the saddle but stops when she back to it,so the saddle becomes a barrier where she would be safe from the whip. She then puts the saddle on and tightens the girth then unclips the leadrope and lets her run to get used to it. Then waits until she accepts the saddle and asks her to go around at a steady trot then a walk then stop,turn walk trot then back to a walk then stop again. She then puts a bridle on and starts to teach her how to flex her neck and turn with bit pressure. She starts by putting light pressure on the right rein and asks her to flex her neck then turn. Does the same to the left. She starts doing ground work. Starting with telling her to stand walking to the end of the reins and asking her to come forwards then back up. She then asks her to turn both ways. She then puts the reins over Coals head then walks to the saddle. she puts her foot into the stirrup and jumps up gracefully but just lays across the saddle then dismounts. does this several times then lifts herself up gracefully and settles into the saddledismounts and mounts several times then mounts and asks her to go forwards then stop the back up then walk forwards again~
