Calls the mare in, and unclips the longeline. As soon as she unclipped it, she pitched one end towards the mares hindend and immediately the palamino cantered out in the perimiters of the roundpen, throwing a buck or two. She kept her shoulders squared with the mares, dreamy hazel eyes sharp and locked on the mares sapphire orbs. The mare flicks her inside ear towards Arianna, but kept the pace. She keeps watching for the next signals, and finally they come. The mare stretches her head and neck to the ground, opening and closing her mouth in a chewing motion. Immediately, Arianna breaks eye contact and turns away from the mare, keeping her back to the mare, lowering her eyes. The mare slows to a trot, then a walk, and halts. She gazes at the human for awhile, then approaches, and slings her head over one shoulder. She turns slowly, and reaches up to rub between the mares eyes, not making eye contact. She turns and walks across the pen, mare following. Happily, she halters the mare once more and cools her out.
