It is thru the Ice caves after the trading post. To the east of the ice caves are a series of openings with access to the treasure of the heads. Im not sure if this opens a pass after the trading post. I know I had trouble too. I'm now stuck in the swamp in a small dungeon with presure pads and levers all over the place - all I want to do is kill more things.
