Subject: If you're going to breed your dog (please don't)...

if you are going to breed your dog make sure it has all of its shots (starting with the baby shots) and take it to the vet's office to reasure your dogs are healthy. I got an american staffordshire terrier puppy from a breeder i thought i could trust, well come to find out the mother had not been vaccinated against parvovirus (parvo) and there was parvo somewhere in the breeder's home, or it was transported by people or flies... Because my beloved Damien got it. None of my dogs have been vaccinated against parvo, and i have three puppies (four counting damien) and Damien became very ill, so i took him to the vet, and in an 8 minute test it came back in 4 minutes positive for parvo... 5 days later my baby had died... And come to find out, all of the puppies had died from the same symtoms... coincidence? No... The mother's resistence level was down, and she passed that on to her puppies... Just because of an irresponsible breeder, 8 babies died and it wasn't anyone's fault but the breeder's... Breeding is one thing... There are too many animals that need to be adopted in shelters, and every day more than 100 animals get put down in local shelters because there are not enough homes for them. Also every day 100 new puppies are born. Will they go to shelter's also?

Irresponsible breeding is another story, if you are going to breed you should have a kind heart in to make sure puppies go to a good home (adoption forms), and make sure the mothers and fathers go to the vet's regularly, and get their shots...
Its cruel what people do to animals. But its heart warming when people want to save them... And i say thank you to all of the people that have changed their mind about breeding (as in no longer want to breed their dogs. I have when i heard about all of the animals in shelters.), and i also say a great thanks to all of the people out there making an effort to save animals.

THANK YOU!!! :)
